T-fal OptiGrill Giveaway

I've had a few indoor counter top grills over the year. They've done the job of getting dinner done, but I was never really impressed. Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the T-fal OptiGrill and it was apparent as soon as I opened the box that this is the Cadillac of indoor grills.

There are smart cars and there are smart phone and T-fal has entered new territory with a smart kitchen appliance. It doesn't just cook meats, but adjusts to the thickness allowing you to make a perfect grilled  medium steak without setting foot outside.

Preheating is easy and you can watch every step happen without opening the lid as color indicators let you know where you are at. I love that it has so many adjustments to get your food just right - it's not just "low" and "high" and you hope that it gets it right. With six automatic programs, you don't have to even think about what setting you need. Just click on the buttons for burger, poultry, sandwich, sausage/pork, red meat or fish seafood. I'm thinking this will be great for the salmon that my family loves. You don't have to worry about it flaking off on the grill grates. I'm also a huge panini fan and can't wait to whip up some lunchtime sandwiches.

I can't wait to start out some of the recipes in the cookbook that was included .

The unit is stainless steel for easy cleaning with removable grates inside that can go right into your dishwasher (outdoor grilling isn't that easy!) It is super sturdy and I can tell will be around a very long time - even with my five kids helping in the kitchen.

I tried out some chicken and added fresh veggies and warmed some potato slices on it, which made for an easy and healthy meal.

The kids enjoyed their hot dogs that were heated on the OptiGrill. Honestly, I don't go for boiled hot dogs and only really eat them when they are grilled. Now I can enjoy them all year long.

The T-fal OptiGrill is available at Walmart. Also, be sure to check out the Facebook page for the product at Facebook.com/OptiGrill.
