Just a little note as you make your dessert selection, the Palmer House Hilton claims to be the creator of the brownie. Bertha Palmer requested of the pastry chef to make a cake-like dessert for the Columbian Exposition World's Fair in 1893. The "Bertha's Brownie" is still made today with that original recipe.
