Tribune Events Group Debuts Sensory Overload
Chicago’s Culinary Experts Indulge Patrons’ Five Senses at Unique Event

CHICAGO (April 11, 2016) – Tribune Events Group, in collaboration with #Foodiechats, will host the first-of-its-kind Sensory Overload dining event on Thursday, April 14 at The Montgomery Club in the River North neighborhood. Showcasing 15 original Chicago dishes to entice the five senses  sight, smell, taste, sound and touch  Sensory Overload will offer patrons an opportunity to explore the local culinary scene from top restaurants and producers in a truly compelling fashion.

“Chicago is a melting pot for food connoisseurs and the perfect place to debut an event of this kind,” notes Haley Carlson, Director, Events & Sponsorships, Tribune Events Group. “We’re thrilled to partner with #Foodiechats to engage an audience that appreciates fine cuisine and wants to absorb the essence and effect of food on every sensory level.”

Guests will partake in a three-hour interactive adventure where they will experience each specially crafted dish under one roof and come into contact with food in inventive ways they never imagined. 

Confirmed partners represent a wide variety of renowned Chicago restaurants and food producers, including Coconutz, Connie’s Pizza, Gibsons, Greenridge Farms Deli, The Hampton Social, Hubbard Inn, Illinois Farm Families, Jellyfish, Outdoor Farmers Market, Pork Chop, Sage Gardens, Sartori, Smith & Wollensky, Uncle Dougie’s and Yolk. 

Sponsors include Celebrity Cruises, Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse and Woodford Reserve.
